Hyde Park is a place to be when you want to celebrate the occasion with others and the worst case, when you don’t have any tickets to get to any venue when the games are held -in this case like us- haha! Before we touched down in London, we were not sure that we will able to get ticket, but as we planned that if that’s happened that we are happy to just watch the game inside Hyde Park, London… and yes, that was we did :)

As I said to one of my blogger friends, I’ll put some more pictures from my trip to London during the Summer Olympics 2012. I have so many pictures and I can’t put them all in here so I’ll post them in a theme :) for this post is all about what was happening in Hyde Park during the Olympics. The pictures was taken on the second day we were there on 28th August because the first day which was 27th August, Hyde Park was close for the those who didn’t have any tickets for the music concert combined with the opening ceremony in a big screen. As I mentioned in the beginning of the post that P and I were not prepared anything, we just take a chance :D It was a bit disappointed to be honest but we were happy to go back home and watched in opening ceremony in one of the pub close to where we stayed. We have to accept the risk to not getting any ticket before we decided to go to London, we had fun anyway :)

You know what…, in the morning when we got out from the house, we had no idea if the Hyde Park will be open for free for public to watch the games, as we did the first day… we took a chance and yeyyyyy…. we got in and enjoy the atmosphere :D As soon as our feet inside the park and our eyes saw so many people with happy face and excitement, P and I looked at each other while our hands hold one to another, we said something with huge smile appear on our face, almost at the same time… statement, line of words…

“It is nice to be back huh?!” :D

Yes, it was nice to be back in the UK! We knew that we were going to have fun no matter if we got the Olympics tickets or not. To be able to celebrate the great games with others is something that I might get it once in my life time, and I so grateful for the chance.

We lived in England for 2 years, back in years 2005-2007 and we know how good this country is to held such a big party and create an atmosphere for us to enjoy. This is something that sometimes we miss when we are in Stockholm, but again… every country has its two sides :) I love my life in Sweden for sure and it would be nice if we could visit countries where we spent our journey together again for the second or more times :) Hopefully we will able to do that regularly, amen. Okay, back to Hyde Park now :)

As you see in these photos, there are many moments were happening in this park which is located just a couple hundreds away from the Buckingham Palace. There are 5 huge screens which placed all over the park and each of them show different games for us to choose and if you hungry, then don’t worry… food stands are everywhere. You can choose either having an Asian -Chinese and Thai- food, kebab, burger, chicken Shawarma or the famous British food, Fish and Chips :) and if you get bored and would like to go around then you can take your step towards the other side of the park and as you see in my last picture, there are many activities that challenge you in many sports, such as hit the shuttlecock, how good you serve in Volley Ball or if you want to test your stamina, you can compete for Triathlon :) Trust me, we spent the whole day here and yup… we came back again the other day!! Well, you can not really resist what Hyde Park has to offer during the Olympics games. This fun place is not only for adults, this place is also fun for every single human being from a baby to oldest one :) a place that every nations come together and share together once in a life time experience. We are in Stockholm now and we miss Hyde Park already :)

There will be another picture, another day, another story from our short trip to England. I would say it again, it was nice to be back!! :)
